LOL about tickling his willy! Wish Dolsey had a willy so I oculd try that Dolsey is the owrlds most stubborn hors,e on Saturday all I did was walk her up to it and after a struggle for 10mins just stood there and left a trail of nuts on the floor of the trailer...what happens? She walks in too busy with looking at the food and gobbling it all up - not looking where she was going obviously And to her surprise we all shut the doors and she was in! Silly horse. It even worked on the way back. Sometimes I wonder if my horses really has a brain or not ;D

I find that the threat of a broom up her bum works with tiggy - used to just wave it around and she would shoot up the ramp (never actually got it near her) now if she is being a bit silly I just say "get the broom" and she shoots into the trailer have recently found saying "i'll get helen " works as well - strange animal

we trick lily into loading she watches fizzy (the shetland) walk out the stables and she thinks onto the trailer but we have tied fizz up out of sight then she goes straight on.

I suggest you get the Parelli DVD on loading if you want a quick focused route. Often found on ebay. I would NEVER entertain lunge lines, chiffenys, party of people, brute force, whips, water and brooms! Go get a dose good natural horsemanship.

we have never forced bonnie into the trailer we spent a long time practising and used kelly marks techniques, the water was just a little gentle encouragement because after a while she would switch off. the lunge lines were actually for her safety as she would spook and trip off the edges
