MB You can always measure and weigh your current usual cane and take it from there ie: are you happy with it's length or would you prefer one just a little longer/shorter. Weight wise: once again, refer to what you are currently using - is it a bit big heavy/too fat/thin etc. Also, consider the size of your hand and how many reins you are holding together with a cane.

MB... the weight doesn't really matter.. if as you say you drop you whip.. then all you have to do is put some, grip on the cane.. I.e: some small plaiting bands... just were it sits in your hand.. so no one sees them Fabcanes are great... and very cheap.. you won't get another cane like it, for the money

My sales rep has got it in one MB ;D Of course bamboo naturally has 'knobbly' bits on it too which should help you to hang on to it a bit easier I must admit, when I first started riding in double reins (all those years ago ) I used to end up either dropping or tangling everything - sussed it in the end though Actually, thought I would just add, I'm at Showlands Spring Show at Brooksby College, Leics on 24th March with the trade stand if anyone's going it would be great to put names to faces
