i have started lunging Toy in the pessoa, and it has solved the initial problem of him leaningon the lunge line to the left! He is very stiff through his left side and finds it hard to bend, which isnt help by Madison's weak left hand! But on the pessoa, he dosen't lean he just finds it hard to bend round the circle, which in turn creats a head 'bob' where he gives for a second and then dropsbehind the virtical, behind the bit!! Will persaverance solve this?? should i just keep lunging him in the pessoa? I have previously lunged in a chambon but he leans really bad against me..... i'm very stuck!!

she said make sure you are 100% sure that you are lunging correctly so if you know an experienced person with a good horse ask them to have a look, and once you know you are doing it right keep going and persaver. hope this helps

agree with P2 sounds like he is sore to the left but the problem is probably on the right, not allowing him to stretch and work correctly. I would have his back checked and I would even be quite confident that the problem with be at the withers or high up in the front leg.

Yeah!
Back checked, teeth done, saddle fitted!
I just can find a brain transplanter..................LOL
he's getting better bit by bit, as the muscel is slowly forming on top of his neck instead of underneath!

My mare is worse on one rein at one point she wouldn't even let you walk on one side of her, her back teeth etc have been done she has gradually got better, I think it just takes time for them to find it comfortable.
