I am waiting to move house. Our buyer failed to let us know that she had to wait for divorce papers to be signed before she could buy our house until 3 days before the move. We have lost the money we paid for the removals and have now spent 2 weeks sat amongst a load of boxes. It doesn't look like the sale will go through for some time. This has come at the end of a crappy year, lost my father in law, and husband made redundant with rubbish redundancy money (and all done against the law I am told), had to put horse on loan amongst other things. I will be pleased to see the end of this year. I just want to know where we will be living when 2008 arrives

Peabrain what a rough time you have had. I do know how it feels losing people close to you and on top of that you have had other set backs to contend with. Not knowing when you will be settled again and feeling safe must be awful and having your horse out on loan too. All I know for sure is that you will turn the corner and life will pick up again for you so hang on in there. Look to the people you do have and keep positive. Hugs to youx

PB Ian's payout is from his divorce and it's taken three years to get it... It should have been in his bank last friday, but still to this morning it's not there. It is his own fault though that it's taken this long as he never really pushed it.... Just went along with the flow...you should be able to get some form of compensation for your wasted time....Here hoping 2008 is a better one ... For every body ...

I think Christmas has a lot to answer for where money problems are concerned, and the worries normally start about October, every child wants the biggest and the best and parents feel obliged, Why not just wait til after xmas in the Sales..
