as in work on a contact and in an outline? you need lots of impulsion (legs on to make back end work) then contain it at the front end using your hands (reins). lunging in side reins could help- shock horror some people might disagree with using this but done correctly it is a usefull training aid. on a circle when you get impulsion keep the outside rein quite still, but with some give and take, dont plant it on his neck (sorry if she) and "wiggle" the inside rein- wrong word but keep the bit quite lively in his mouth until his head starts to move down. as it comes down keep the rein still again as a reward. this is how i do it, the best way i can explain in words, it might not be entirely correct but it works for me.

Echo Loopylazz or, Try Lunging in a Bungee. You can ride work in a bungee as well.

you could also try getting the horse to stretch his neck down and then collecting him back in again xxx

please dont use a bungi or draw rains ect. this cause an unnatural head carriage and can cause a horse to work behind the bit and this could lead to a ew neck try doing some neck flextions so from halt on a every lose rain vibrate on the outside rain and push your calf onto the outside belly and your horse should bring its head around wen you can just see his eye drop all pressure do this on both sides this teaches a horse to flex the right way as your go around a corner i like to teach natural headcarrige in a Pelham then moving on to a hanging cheek if you vibrate on the curb rain this make your horse soft in this poll bring his back up and work from behind nicley on the bit do not pull your horse into an outline and do not lean back like you see most dressage riders doing this puts pressure on your horses reflex point and will cause a dipped back and could cause your horse to buck rear and have back soreness this horse is above the bit this horse is behind the bit this horse is forced into an "outline" and is very behind the bit and this is what your are aiming for nicely on the bit hope this helps
