We were over the moon yesterday when one of our yearling TB fillies won the Sports Horse Yearling class at South Suffolk Show, especially when she was handed over to someone she's never met before only 5 minutes before the show to show her for us (unable to show myself as ongoing spinal surgery) and I had been let down by our original planned handler. The filly behaved perfect and seemed to thoroughly enjoy her day out including the loading and travelling bit as well. She's by our own TB stallion "Advise" and out of our old Hunter Broodmare "Marsara". This was the dams 7th foal and everyone she's had what we've shown has won first time out. "Sara's Speech" has continued the winner debut. Shame we've now got to sell her. Anyone want to buy a cracking yearling that should go far in the right hands? Here's a photo of her back home.

Shadowdancer: unfortunately had traffic accident (woman drove into my horsebox) which has left me unable to work, had 7 operations so far on my spine and face a lifetime of more surgery, and being as we lost the Court case - long story - but basically court ruled it was my fault for being too fit before the accident !!! and working with horses and lifting sacks of feed etc, apparently was asking for trouble, so as you can imagine, we've been living on credit card for over 3 years now and have to find all that to pay back plus more. We're having to go through all our horses and see what ones to sell privately, and what ones go to the bloodstock sales. Can't sell a lot of them because some of them have been with us for over 25 years plus (home breds) and to be honest, most of them of them which are now not babies have been counted as "family" horses for too many years to part with now. So, it's the yearlings and this years four foals which have to go.
Madamebonnie: If you are interested for next year - we've got her full sister here and if she doesn't sell this year as a foal, will be advertised next year as a yearling. Remind us to get some photos of the foals for sale to include on the advert.
If anyone does buy the yearling filly - they will be rewarded a hundred times over we are sure. Price for her is low, but a good permanent home is our priority. But of course, if we win big on the lottery, the whole lot are taken off the market immediately.

Penniless that is quite a story and im sorry to hear the outcome of the court case...sorry to say but they are obviously small minded fukers..... Can understand where you are coming from 100% though, I can but wish you all the best in what you decide to do, still dos'nt take away the fact that the above filly is stunning, and im sure if she goes to a new home they will as you say be rewarded 10 fold xxx

The filly was born this year so will be 4 years old in 2013. She should be able to turn her hand to anything you want her to do. The rest of the mares siblings have all competed in various disciplines, from racing, through to eventing, sj, dressage, showing (show hack, riding horse, hunter and sports horse). She is quite dark bay with a little star on her forehead. We have called her "Hope". (Also have another little filly born the next day by our Stallion who we've named "Faith"). Hope looks to be an exceptional foal at the moment so we are asking £1,750 for her if someone was to put a deposit on her before weaning. She is entered for shows this summer and if she does win or do exceptional well, then the price may change. The foals from this mare/stallion combination usually sell for £4,000 but because of our financial situation and the economic climate as it is, we are prepared to go less than half of this for this year only, in the hope (no pun intended) that whoever buys her doesn't then sell her on for a quick profit. Faith will be £1,250 purely because we will not be able to show her as a foal unless the mare picks up - as the pregnancy really drained her and she's given everything to her foal. If you are genuinely interested, by all means phone us for a chat and come over to see them. We are more than happy for anyone who puts a deposit on them, to take an active part in their handling right up until weaning. Both are very friendly little fillies and even our vet has fallen in love with the pair of them. I will try and get a photo on tomorrow but it might have to be one taken last week as the weather is torrential out there at the moment and is forecast for rain right through to the end of the weekend. Any questions or queries, just ask. The yearling who has just won - in case anyone is interested in her - is up for sale now at £2,000. Again, she is entered for more shows and price may be adjusted after them.
